Arrival & Departure
-
Los Cabos International Airport.
Airport arrival: After landing, follow the crowd through two checkpoints: passport control and then customs.
Timeshare zone: Once you exit customs, you’ll pass through sliding doors into an inside area where people may approach you offering transportation or timeshare deals. Please ignore them, avoid eye contact, and continue straight outside to the designated pickup area.
-
Transportation.
Your reserved ride: We’ve arranged private transportation from the airport to the hotel through Cabo Airport Shuttle. Look for staff wearing shirts and signs that say “Cabo Airport Shuttle.” Check in with them using your reservation name. You may need to wait a few minutes while they bring the car—your driver will call your name when it’s ready. The ride to the Hyatt Ziva takes about 10–15 minutes. https://caboairportshuttle.net
-
Check-in.
Upon arrival at the Hyatt Ziva, bypass the regular check-in and follow the signs to the VIP check-in area.
Club-level rooms: Your room includes access to an exclusive lounge with premium liquor, light snacks, and a quiet space to relax. The Club Lounge is located in the main tower on Floor 4.
-
Departure.
On departure day, check out by 12:00pm and meet your reserved transportation out front. Even after check-out, you’ll still have full access to the hotel’s bars, restaurants, and amenities until it’s time to leave for the airport.
The Los Cabos airport is straightforward and similar to U.S. airports.
Tip: Global Entry can speed up your return to the U.S. (depending on your arrival airport) but isn’t required. The process and timelines for getting Global Entry as similar to that of TSA pre-check; it’s dependent upon when you can get an interview, however it’s live within a few days of the interview. https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry
